New Zealand pop-star, BENEE, has been touring across the United States in support of Wallows’ Model World Tour. More than halfway through her time with the trio, BENEE put on a memorable opening performance in Sterling Heights, Michigan at the Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre. Even though BENEE is best known for her 2020 hit, “Supalonely”, which became a staple on TikTok during the COVID-19 pandemic, fans were singing along to each and every word with absolute ease.
Her opening set featured a steady mix of tracks from her debut EP, Fire on Marzz, as well as singles like “Animal”, her latest release “Green Honda”, and the unreleased, yet highly anticipated, “Sad Boiii”. Standing tall in her signature Moon Boots, BENEE truly commanded the audience with her catchy, infectious tunes and upbeat personality. Experiencing a BENEE set is like watching your best friend perform, you just can’t help but watch in complete awe with a smile so strong your cheeks hurt.

BENEE will continue to support Wallows on their Model World Tour through the end of the United States leg that concludes on September 12 in Los Angeles, CA. While she doesn’t have any headlining dates to look forward to just yet, you can find her opening for Olivia Rodrigo on her GUTS World tour in Australia during the month of October.
