Thank You, Husbands, for the Song of the Summer!

Husbands newest single, “Can’t Do Anything” starts off as an immediately groovy track, teleporting me to driving on the highway, windows down, music loud. Perfectly blending beach pop and indie rock, this song is the perfect summer song and Pleaser is ready to have it on repeat. Husbands truly have a sound like no other, one that brings on a feeling of nostalgia, with some pieces reminiscent of music from the 60's surf rock scene.

Frontman Danny Davis confronts the emotions that come up when dealing with change, while also crafting an infectious tune that sticks with you. Husbands perfectly encapsulate how comfort music sounds and their discography has kept up a stellar reputation. “Can’t Do Anything” is the first single off their upcoming album, Cuatro, which will be released on October 13th. I know I’ll be eagerly waiting to be able to listen to these songs 24/7!
